End Sickness Evictions

The fight to end unjust foreclosure evictions, especially for families struggling with serious illness has gotten some good coverage lately. The Huffington Post had a story on Monday October 29 with the headline, "Pre-Existing Evictions - Community Activists Try to Stop Banks From Foreclosing on Cancer Victims" (you can read it here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peter-dreier/preexisting-evictions-com_b_2036753.html)

The Home Defenders League also wrote a blog posting about it here: http://www.homedefendersleague.org/2012/10/29/get-sick-lose-your-home/

This section has a couple of posters you can download of Ana Casas Wilson and Jacqueline Barber - described in the petitions you can find at the right - which are being used as part of the delegations visits to US Bank and Wells Fargo on October 30th.
