Consumerism is expressed violently on Black Friday all over the United States. It shows just how much capitalism can drive a person to the point of harming others physically and themselves mentally.

Reasons to Protest (not in any specific order):
-The National Labor Committee has reported that an estimated 200 children in other countries, some 11 years of age and younger, are sewing clothing for this corporation, making less the 16 cents an hour sometimes working 19-20 hour shifts.
-Wal-Mart employees express issues of poverty-wages, terrible working conditions, 80% of their workers are on food stamps, and unaffordable health care policies that will only be encouraged with sales.
-Wal-Mart begins their Black Friday at 8pm on Thanksgiving day. This means some people will cut time out of their day with their families for materialism.
-The madness within the consumers on this day only to save money

And any other reason you think should be addressed! If you cannot make it you can protest simply by boycotting. Starts at 10am, ends at 3pm. at Oshtemos' WalMart: 501 N 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009
