The crisis in housing is still on-going, with many homes underwater and homeowners struggling to get by. And layered on top of that economic misery are continued reports of abuses in the foreclosure process: homes foreclosed upon for unsound reasons, ownership of the loans lost in a maze of confusing paperwork, and robo-signed foreclosure notes that don't reflect the reality of the situation.

A diverse coalition of groups across the country is working to help homeowners and fight against abusive practices by corporations. The Corporate Action Network will be supporting them to find the patterns of abuses, run collaborative campaigns that can grow big enough to get at the true scale of the problem, and build strategies to get results.
